But if you’re wanting to find out a little more, ask some questions, and meet some other folks are who are checking out Northwest as well, join us for Discover NW.

This no-pressure, informal event is a great opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us.

We’ll swap stories, answer questions, and enjoy some dessert!

Serve

We’re a family and just like a family works together in the home – we work together as a church family to serve one another.

Nothing that we are able to do happens apart from our incredible team of volunteers. From the early morning set-up crew & truck driver, to dozens of people preparing lessons and teaching children and students, to many more behind-the-scenes roles you’d never even think of.

If you’re part of the Northwest family, we’d love to help you find your place to serve!

There are always places to serve – and our needs change constantly. Below you’ll find a preview of some of the ways you could get involved.

SIGN-UP TO SERVE
We are committed to partnering with families to see our children & students grow up to be followers of Jesus. We want to see our youngest kids encountering the Gospel every single week as we teach them the Truth found in God’s Word.

There are opportunities to serve both on Sundays and during the week with NW Kids and NWSM. Whether you’re a gifted teacher, you love one on one discussions or you’d prefer to help behind the scenes!

Fill out the form below and indicate Kids or Students to learn more about getting involved. All volunteers go through an application process and background check to ensure the safety & security of our families.

Our Sunday morning worship experience isn’t just a show. It’s all about being a family. As our family grows it can be hard especially for our guests to know how to get connected.

That’s where the First Impressions team comes in. We hang out at the front doors, serve up some delicious Dunkin Donuts coffee and donuts, show you around and help out in any way we can.

We’re always looking for outgoing, friendly faces to join our team!

Our Worship & AVL teams work hard every week to create an environment for our church family to worship. Musicians, audio & video guys, set designers and more work together – we’d love to have you join the team.

Use the form below to let us know where you’re interested in getting involved!

Being a portable church, it’s no small task to get church set up each Sunday!

Our set-up & tear-down teams load and unload our trailers full of equipment to transform Panther Creek High School into our place of worship every Sunday morning.

There are 3 ways to serve on this team:
Truckers – Help us by towing the trailers to and from church
Set-up – Come early and unload the trailers and set-up our ministry areas
Tear-down – Stick around after 2nd service to help pack everything back up

Do you love to organize?
Are you a clean freak?
Do you have a green thumb?
Number Cruncher? Carpenter?

We can use all sorts of skills around our office and in ministry areas at different times of the year! We may not need a carpenter every week – but we’d love to know that’s how God has gifted you!

Membership

“For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them…” – Romans 12: 3-8

Being a member of Northwest Community Church is really about being part of a family. All members are disciples of Jesus, unified by their identity in Christ. This unity is expressed in the way they collaborate in loving God, loving fellow Christians, and loving non-Christians. Members who enter into a covenant with their local church are called to a higher degree of responsibility and service. At the same time, the elders and deacons are covenanted to assist members first and foremost, to love and lead, provide counsel and aid, and pray for, teach, and guide them.

Our membership process is pretty simple:

1. Worship & serve at Northwest

2. Attend NW 101, our membership class. This class is usually offered 2-3 times a year.

3. Welcome to the family!
