What to expect

We gather every Sunday to sing, learn, and fellowship. Sunday mornings are not about entertainment – but that doesn’t mean we don’t have fun, laugh and celebrate together.

This is our time to gather as a community to worship God in song and by hearing and applying His Word, the Bible, to our lives. Our service begins at 10am and are about an hour and fifteen minutes long. You are welcome to join us to pray at 9:30 in the library and enjoy a cup of coffee & donuts!

While adults & students worship together in the auditorium, we have created age appropriate environments for children. Our NW Kids program provides a safe, fun, and exciting program for children from birth through 5th grade to worship and learn from God’s Word. NW Kids provides programming during both services.

Middle & High School students gather for worship, teaching, and small groups on Sunday nights.

[By the way, we use a secure check-in system to keep your kids safe! If it’s your first time with, we’ll take a few minutes to get to know your family & register you in the system. Contact the NW Kids team to learn more or to pre-register your family to keep things simple!]

Location & Directions

When you arrive at Panther Creek High School, you can use either driveway off McCrimmon Parkway to enter the school property. Follow the twists & turns to the front of the school! There is visitor parking in both parking lots – please feel free to park there! When you walk in the main entrance, stop by the Welcome Center (on the left) so we can meet you and show you around.

Make yourself at home.

You are welcome here.

We know that visiting a church for the first time can be scary, intimidating, maybe even awkward.

But we hope that we can give you a good idea of what we’re all about!

You might be checking us out because a friend told you about this church around the corner that you should check out.

Or maybe you’re new to the Triangle and looking for a church home.

Or maybe you are searching for truth, looking for answers to life’s difficult questions, or wondering what the Bible is all about.

No matter where you are in life, no matter where you’ve been – you are welcome at Northwest Community Church.

We are not a perfect place for perfect people…
We are a safe place for broken people. We are a family.

We love God and we love you. We would love to get to know you.

New Here?

Let’s get to know each other…

Dear Friend…

Whether you are a regular church-goer or one who has rarely or never stepped into a church, we invite you to experience church Northwest’s way. We are eager to welcome you, and to share more about who we are and how you can become part of our family. If you don’t have a church home, please consider ours.  Northwest is a caring group of people, and we are committed to support you wherever you are in your spiritual journey.

Here at Northwest we have a very high view of the Bible.  We believe it is God’s words to us and that in it we find answers to questions about the purpose, meaning and significance of life in general and about each of our lives specifically.  Whether you are far along in your spiritual journey or you are just beginning, we have learning opportunities and resources to help you find answers in God’s truth, and individuals who would love to spend time with you. If you are a Christ-follower and new to the area, or have been around and haven’t found a church to call home, we encourage you to become involved and share in what God is doing at Northwest.

Our prayer is that you will join us. Allow us to get to know you—to minister to you, and look for opportunities where you can use your unique gifts and talents for God’s glory.
